Software licence

Right to use

high5 ventures GmbH grants you a non-exclusive right to install and use midiflow on up to two Macs assigned to your licence during the paid term. The licence is for your own private or business work. It does not allow you to distribute midiflow, share a licence publicly or provide unrelated third parties with access to your activation. Mandatory statutory transfer rights remain unaffected.

Trial and activation

The free trial is governed by the trial terms. A paid licence is verified online. The two-Mac limit is enforced through licence activation. Device changes must release the previous activation or be resolved with support. Claude access and third-party plug-in activation are separate.

Your music and third-party material

We claim no ownership of your MIDI, samples, projects or exported audio. You may use your results privately or commercially to the extent permitted by the rights in the material and tools you use. midiflow does not grant rights in someone else’s samples, presets, recordings or compositions.

Instruments and effects remain the products of their respective vendors. Their licences and system requirements apply. Components supplied under separate open-source licences retain those licences; notices accompanying the software identify them.

Software protection

Do not remove copyright notices or bypass licence controls. Do not copy, modify, decompile or distribute the software except where this licence or applicable law permits it. Statutory rights to make necessary backup copies, observe or test the program and achieve interoperability remain unaffected.

Updates and end of the licence

All features and updates offered as part of your subscription are included during the paid term. Mandatory rights to updates are not limited by this wording. After the paid entitlement ends, further paid rendering requires renewal or a new licence. Music you have already exported remains yours under the applicable third-party rights.

Internal takes are temporary and are removed after 24 hours. Export the files you want to retain. See the terms for cancellation, defects and liability and the privacy policy for licence data processing.
