Scope and parties

These terms apply to the software and product services provided by high5 ventures GmbH, Speicherstr. 1, 60327 Frankfurt am Main, Germany, to consumers and business customers. The software is named midiflow and is presented on this website as midiflow pro. Individual agreements and mandatory consumer rights take precedence.

A purchase marked “Sold through Link” is processed in the checkout under the Sold through Link terms incorporated there. The specific merchant entity is identified in the purchase documents. high5 ventures GmbH remains responsible for the software, its delivery and the product services promised here. These terms do not replace the merchant’s purchase terms or restrict statutory rights against it.

What {{websiteName}}vides

midiflow connects Claude to compatible instruments and effects installed on your Mac and renders MIDI to audio. The built-in sampler is included. System requirements, supported integrations and limitations are described on the product and compatibility pages. Claude access and third-party plug-in licences are separate.

Features depend on the controls exposed by each plug-in. We do not promise compatibility with every instrument, future third-party version or Claude interface. The integrated player currently offers its fullest interface in Claude Code Desktop; Claude Chat has a more limited interface. These descriptions do not limit statutory rights if the agreed product is defective.

Free trial

The trial provides a one-time budget of 120 seconds of rendered audio per Mac, without payment details or automatic conversion to a paid subscription. A trial render is limited to 16 seconds; effect tails up to 4 seconds do not consume the budget. Failed-render refunds are capped at 32 seconds per Mac in total. The trial budget has no time limit.

Stored takes can be replayed without consuming the render budget. Internal takes are kept for 24 hours; export files you want to retain. Further rendering after the budget is exhausted requires a paid licence. Rights in your music remain subject to the licences for the instruments, samples and other material you use.

Price and subscription

The price is €49 per year including VAT, billed annually in advance, for one licence covering up to two Macs. There is no monthly payment plan. Any offered currency conversion and the final amount are shown before you place an order.

A paid contract is entered into only through checkout, not by visiting this website, downloading the software or starting the free trial. The merchant, total amount, billing frequency, term and cancellation conditions are shown before ordering. You can correct your details before completing a paid order. The merchant supplies the terms incorporated into your order and the order confirmation. This website does not yet accept orders.

Term, renewal and cancellation

The paid term is twelve months. The subscription automatically renews for another twelve months unless you cancel before the renewal takes effect. You can cancel at any time up to that point, with effect at the end of the current paid year. The annual fee is payable in advance for each year.

After ordinary cancellation, you can continue using the software until the end of the paid year. Ordinary cancellation does not shorten that year and does not entitle you to a proportional refund of its annual fee. Statutory rights of withdrawal, remedies for defects, termination for cause and any resulting refund claims remain unaffected.

See Cancel subscription for the cancellation route and Right of withdrawal for the separate consumer withdrawal right.

Licence, updates and your work

The licence terms grant use on up to two Macs during the paid term and cover included updates. Ending the licence does not transfer ownership of the software to you and does not take away rights you already have in exported music. Third-party licences continue to apply.

We provide updates required to keep the agreed digital product in conformity, including necessary security updates, for the legally required period. No provision here waives mandatory update, conformity or remedy rights. A change that materially affects use will not be imposed merely by replacing the text on this website.

Defects and liability

Statutory rights in the event of defects apply. We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, expressly assumed guarantees and mandatory product liability. For a slightly negligent breach of an essential contractual duty, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical of the contract. An essential duty is one whose fulfilment enables proper performance and on which you may normally rely. Mandatory liability remains unaffected.

You should back up your projects and review generated musical results before using them. This recommendation does not exclude liability or shift the burden of proof to you.

Applicable law and contact

German law applies to the licence relationship with high5 ventures GmbH. Consumers retain the protection of mandatory law in their country of habitual residence. These terms do not impose an exclusive German court on consumers. The merchant’s purchase contract identifies its own governing terms.

Both English and German versions are available. Contact info@h5ventures.de if you notice a discrepancy. No wording in either language limits mandatory rights. We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
